According to the Chinese zodiac both writers are “Roosters” – one born in Inner Mongolia and one in South Australia. Their stories illuminate contrasting national and family histories revealing the power of cross-cultural friendship.

In a discussion moderated by Asialink Senior Adviser and UNSW Emeritus Professor Louise Edwards, David will sit down to discuss his new book and why cross-cultural friendship is now more powerful than ever before.
