Migrants are a vital part of this country’s economy, with their collective contribution expected to add an estimated $1.6 trillion dollars towards the economy by 2050.

Migrants not only offer important economic benefits, they also bring diversity of thinking, innovation and growth to the Australian business landscape. This new report uncovers new business models and other innovative approaches that Chinese-Australian migrants are bringing to our business communities. These entrepreneurs, who grew up in China and were university educated in Australia, understand business norms in both countries, offering a productive bridge between the two cultures and markets.

In this panel, the co-authors of The New Generation Chinese Australia Entrepreneurs report, industry experts and a young entrepreneur aim to demystify this vibrant, yet little-known sector within the economy and provide insight into the new generation of Chinese Australian entrepreneurs.
