Masterclass: Religion in Contemporary China: Practice and Belief

This Masterclass will provide an opportunity for PhD scholars and early career researchers to develop informed, critical perspectives on social change and cultural identity in rural and urban China today, as revealed through the study of religious practices and beliefs. The Masterclass will be led by two international authorities, Professor Thierry Meynard, S.J. (Sun Yat-sen University, Guangzhou) and Dr Benjamin Penny (CIW, ANU), through focused discussions and selected readings over three days.

Applications will close on 31 October 2017.

Financial subvention is available for interstate PhD students in Australia.
