Postgraduate Research Day

CFP – Postgraduate Research Day in China Studies

Macquarie University, 10 July 2017

As part of the Chinese Studies Association of Australia’s 15th Biennial Conference, the Sydney China Studies Student Society are collaborating with the CSAA to host a postgraduate research day at Macquarie University on July 10, 2017. We invite early-career scholars and postgraduate students to submit abstracts for individual papers in their fields of interest. We do not offer an overarching conference theme. Rather, contributors will be grouped into panels according to the topics they bring forth.

The Sydney China Studies Student Society hopes that the postgraduate research day will foster cross-disciplinary discussions and inter-institutional research networks. The postgraduate research day is open to individuals attending the CSAA conference, as well as those who would just like to participate in this postgraduate activity. The postgraduate research day will be held from the morning to early afternoon of July 10.

Applications should include a 200-word abstract, a 30-50 word biography and contact details. Please send applications by April 25 to Mr Zihui Qiu – zihui.qiu@sydney.edu.au. We will inform successful applicants by mid-May.
