Summer Research Scholarship – Australian Parliamentary Library

The Australian Parliamentary Library is seeking applications for its 2017 Summer Research Scholarship program.

The Scholarships are open to honours and postgraduate students. Scholars have the opportunity to spend six weeks in the Parliamentary Library in Canberra conducting research on a topic of relevance to the Commonwealth Parliament. The subject can be historical or contemporary in nature.

Students of public policy, political science, history, law and economics will have a particular interest in the program.

Only students with Australian citizenship or Australian permanent resident status are eligible to apply. There is a one-off payment of $1,800 for the student on completion of the program; however, please note that there is no financial support available for travel or accommodation.

Applications for the 2017 round close at midnight on 23 September 2016.
